CPR
actually stands for Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is a medical related
technique that is widely used in saving lives through some simple yet important
steps. This is highly applicable during emergency situations. Drowning and
heart attack incidents are the perfect situations where CPR can be used. It is
simply because victims in these unfortunate situations may have difficulty in
breathing or worse, stop breathing.
The truth is, when
performing CPR, it is not as simple as you think it is. It is simply because
there are a lot of small details that must be taken into consideration while
performing it. One single wrong move will affect the result of doing CPR. This
is the main reason why you should be careful and observant. In this regard, the
American Heart Association said that CPR should start with chest compressions,
no matter if you are a medically trained or not.
